David Vidmar

After being an elementary school teacher and then administrator at a Christian School in Northern California, David and his family moved to Kazakhstan the month before September 11, 2001. They got to know Muslims there by living as neighbors for seven years, focusing on Uyghurs and their plight. This experience drew them into peacemaking. He now lives in San Diego and serves the staff of Peace Catalyst through coaching and the role of Program Director.
