A Taste of Peace: Diving into Community Peacebuilding (online event)

Taste of peace graphic diving into community peacebuilding.jpg

Community grows when neighbors feel responsible and empowered to work together for the good of everyone. We all have visions of what a "good" society might look like, and may have ideas or a desire to shape our own communities for the better. But how do we get started?

As we build peace in our own communities, Peace Catalyst staff get started with a simple process:

  • Understand our community and the people in it

  • Connect with others, especially neighbors and groups across lines of difference

  • Collaborate with those others to bring life and peace to the community

We think this approach is so simple, anyone can do it!

Join us for this online conversation where you will:

  • learn more about our model for building peace

  • reflect on how this model applies to engaging with your own community or a current event

  • consider specific "next steps" that you can take to go deeper as a community peacebuilder!

Every month, Peace Catalyst will be hosting an online “taster” session, introducing participants to some key peacebuilding skills and a chance to learn more about our work. Follow our social media channels and sign up for our newsletter to be notified about future sessions!

PCI's work, including free trainings like these and peacebuilding work in our local communities, is made possible by the generous donations of peacemakers like you. If you find these resources valuable, please consider financially supporting our work at www.peacecatalyst.org/donate.
