Our Bosnia-focused team members work together with local peacebuilding organizations to … (what’s your overall goal there that’s specific to your context - your Bosnia “team” - and unique from, say, PCI work in the U.S. or Norwich, etc.?) I want this text chunk to be about 2 sentences long.
Context / why BiH?
I can use the text on the current page on “A Brief Introduction” or new text
We
Equip Christians
for peace
…by sharing the skills and stories that help us live out God’s peace.
This looks like:
Leading small groups to help people explore the theology and practice of peace,
Running workshops on dialogue skills, interpersonal conflict skills, how to catalyze community transformation, and more,
Speaking at churches and coaching local leaders and peacemakers to …do what?
We
Empower
Christians
for peace
…by creating opportunities and networks where they can put their skills to use.
This looks like:
Working with others to meet the immediate and long turn needs of neighbors and the neighborhood. For example, a weekly food shelf, distributing food and supplies to the unhoused, running workshops on trauma awareness, and supporting refugees as they integrate into their new homes.
Advocating and activating for change, collaborating with neighbors to urge those in power to be just and merciful, protecting the rights and needs of their community. For example, organizing for racial justice, advocating for Uyghurs alongside Uyghurs, advocating for Ceasefire alongside Palestinians
Building community, cultivating relationships of unity and understanding across differences. For example, Peace Feasts between Christians and Muslims, interfaith home groups, and community song circles.
Get Involved
We welcome people to join our team, both as volunteer Peace Ambassadors (link to somewhere explaining what this means - or just say “volunteers”?) or self-funded staff. If you’re looking for a spiritual and professional home to pursue your peacebuilding calling, we’d love to chat.

Why your church should start training for peacebuilding
Peacebuilding is desperately needed in a holistic way. Not just as an additional church activity or program, but as a driving paradigm for how Christians understand God’s mission and the Church’s vocation. The need for each of us - and for our whole churches - to embrace peacebuilding is urgent, and we’ve got to start now
Photos/profiles of US-focused staff? Who is in this group? Some staff, like Mercy, are based in the States but primarily focused elsewhere.
