Where does my money go? How will my gift be used?
Your donation will go directly towards the gift category you select - whether a Peace Catalyst staff member or a project account. If the amount raised exceeds our needs for any specific gift category, surplus funds will be directed to Peace Catalyst’s most urgent needs.
We are grateful for your generosity and promise to honor your donation in the most effective way possible. The gifts in this catalog represent Peace Catalyst projects at the time of writing, and the costs are based on average expenses across the organization.
Will I receive a receipt for my gift, and is my gift tax-deductible?
All gift orders are 100% tax-deductible and will be receipted.
Can I make a direct donation to Peace Catalyst instead of (or in addition to) a specific project?
Of course! Thank you for your interest in strengthening Peace Catalyst organizationally. This covers (1) administrative and operational expenses and (2) wages for administrative and operational staff. To make a monthly or one-time gift to Peace Catalyst, click here.
How secure is my information over the web? Are there any other ways to give?
All online transactions to Peace Catalyst are done on a secure server. This means that information entered on the transaction page is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) before transmission. On secure pages, the website address in the bar at the top of the browser screen starts with a “closed” lock symbol and “https” instead of “http.” Read our privacy policy.
