Anthony Khair

Anthony is a Palestinian human rights activist and theologian. He has a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies from Bethlehem Bible College in Palestine and is pursuing his Master’s in Theology from Vrije University Amsterdam, where he specializes in Peace, Trauma, and Religion. Born in Honduras and fluent in English, Spanish, and Arabic, Anthony’s multicultural background spans Latin America, Palestine, and the United States, enriching his perspective on global human rights and justice issues.
Anthony has worked with the Mennonite Central Committee, advocating for Palestine, Latin America, and migration-related issues at the U.S. Congress and the United Nations. He is an experienced public speaker, having delivered lectures at universities and churches across the United States, the Netherlands, and Palestine to amplify awareness of critical human rights challenges. Among other leadership roles, Anthony coordinated the Palestine/South Africa Solidarity Pilgrimage with the South African NGO Iziko Lamaqabane, fostering connections between communities of struggle.
Anthony is working with Peace Catalyst International (PCI) speak about decolonial theology, advocate for justice for Palestinians and other communities of struggle, and explore the intersection of lived religion, justice, and sumud (steadfastness). His ongoing work emphasizes international solidarity with majority-world countries, standing against systemic oppression, and promoting justice in diverse global contexts.
