A Taste of Peace: Building Peace Through Stories

Taste of peace graphic building peace through stories.jpg

Stories are at the heart of the human experience. We find our identity through stories, we build relationships through stories. We use stories to interpret the world around us, to entertain each other, and to process difficult experiences.

Naturally, stories are also at the heart of peacebuilding. Stories build empathy and understanding between people, facilitate the healing of emotional wounds, and create space to dream about a more beautiful future for everyone. Stories build peace by binding our hearts and hopes together.

Join us for an experiential story circle, practicing in small groups the simple art of storytelling as a path toward relationship and community.

Every month, Peace Catalyst will be hosting a “taster” session, introducing participants to some key peacebuilding skills and a chance to learn more about our work. Follow our social media channels and sign up for our newsletter to be notified about future sessions!

PCI's work, including free trainings like these and peacebuilding work in our local communities, is made possible by the generous donations of peacemakers like you. If you find these resources valuable, please consider financially supporting our work at www.peacecatalyst.org/donate.
