Catalyze Multifaith Community Peacemaking in North Carolina
In North Carolina, our community is facing many problems ranging from Christian misunderstanding of our Muslim neighbors to infectious disease, natural disasters, and corporate interests that unjustly weaken and hinder our lesser-advantaged neighbors.
Help Peace Catalyst staff collaborate with local Muslim leaders who have started to build grassroots networks to educate and advocate for systemic change, uniting secular and faith communities to collaborate with local, state, and national community leaders to produce non-biased policies and programs that advocate for the marginalized and at-risk in our communities.
A donation of $25 equals the cost of renting equipment for one multifaith networking meeting to build trust across lines of difference.
A donation of $100 per month equals the cost of hosting and maintaining a website for a Muslim-led peacemaking organization, keeping Christian peacemakers (and those of other faiths) informed and connected with their work.
A donation of $1920 equals the annual cost of storing supplies needed for Muslim-Christian community building and advocacy activities. This foundational expense furthers the local work.
