Practicing Hope in Times of War: How PCI Peacebuilders Are Working for Peace in Israel and Palestine

The war in Gaza has been going on for almost a full year. At Peace Catalyst, we believe that God’s mission is to build a holistic and just peace and that our calling as Christians is to follow Jesus in the work of peacebuilding. That includes peacebuilding in the context of Israel and Palestine, and we have several team mebers dedicated to advocating for peace in the current situation.

On this call, our peacebuilders Mercy Aiken, David Vidmar, and Andy & Cari Conklin-Larsen will share their own personal experience and expertise on the situation and the different ways they have been involved in and advocating for ceasefire and long-term peace in the Middle East.

They’ll also be addressing questions like these:

  • What might a future peace in the region look like?

  • How are you navigating the tension between dialogue/understanding and action/activism?

  • What do you want people to know about Israel and Palestine?

  • What should the church be learning and doing?

  • How can everyday people lean in and get engaged?
